English Smart Camp 2018

School camps are fantastic . We actually learn a myriad of things about students in the camp environment that would perhaps take a lot longer to learn in that learning environment .

On 28th April 2018, the English Club in our school organised an English camp for all the students from Gr: 7 to 10 in our school campus. There were many activities organised by us to attract the students to participate and to practice using English language through out the camp. The main objective of the camp was to give them more outsight about the Descriptive Narrative Letter Writing.

Students were distributed among four groups through different energizers and group activities were held. There were many activities regarding the lesson and energizers like preparation of lessons, presentation, ‘Lie to me’, ‘Pink finger’, ‘Get on the chair, action song mimic, etc. All the students enjoyed all activities and presented Descriptive Narrative Letter Writing at the end of the session.

In the beginning, children were reluctant to participate, but as the time gone by and with the encouragement and good values, children by the end of the camp were quite willing.

This camp given our students hands -on experience in descriptive narrative letter writing and group dynamics.
